Elementary School: Ages 6 – 10. Athletes will focus on fundamentals in Hitting, Pitching, and Fielding. Players will be evaluated to search out mechanical flaws and implement sound movements to create good habits. Hitters will be challenged through tee drills to help young players find their barrel and repeat fundamentally sound swings. Pitchers will learn the basic movements of delivering the baseball while focusing on arm care and health. We aim to create a solid foundation that players can continue to develop throughout their careers. As a bonus, athletes will also learn proper footwork and technique while concentrating on their preferred position. Fielders will be instructed on how to position themselves in order to cleanly catch the baseball and move their feet towards the throw.

Middle School: Ages 11 – 13. We aim to build off prior instruction and work to eliminate bad habits while establishing healthy ones. Athletes will receive instruction that will help them transition to high school level competition and drill work they can do on their own. Hitters will develop their swings and concentrate on loading, striding, rotating, extension, and finishing. Players will also be evaluated to correct common mistakes such as casting, drifting, stepping out and finishing unbalanced. This will be facilitated through tee work and front toss routines. Pitchers will have access to collegiate throwing routines and velocity training to up their game. Pitchers will learn to position their bodies to maximize lower body drive, hip shoulder separation, and fluid arm mechanics. We aim to develop secondary pitches such as breaking balls and changeups in a safe, supervised environment. Proper fielding techniques will also be taught in this course. This includes positioning for groundballs, redirecting throws for double plays, and focusing on “soft hands”. Athletes will have full confidence in making the routine plays and the skillset to make the hard ones.

High School: Ages 14 – 18. We prepare them to play varsity and collegiate baseball. Players will be given in-depth instruction to explore their swing, delivery, and fielding mechanics. Hitters will focus on explosion through the baseball while minimizing unnecessary movements and poor swing mechanics. They will be provided with drill work for establishing good habits that create great outcomes. We will begin by using the tee to evaluate the swing and front toss to explore the strike zone for each hitter. Hitters will be given a set of drills that are tailored to their swing. Pitchers will receive advanced pitching instruction that focuses on velocity, command, and pitch haping/creation. We will record baselines for each player and track their development over time. Players will be given drills to increase velocity while maintaining fluid mechanics. Pitchers will be taught how to leverage the lower body, hip/shoulder separation, and arm speed when creating velocity. We have designed a throwing program based on expert input and years of experience. Arm care and arm health will be one of our main focal points as we hope to create safe velocity jumps.
