Baseball Training

Introducing baseball training at Redline! With a brand-new batting cage and a focus on hitting, pitching, catching and fielding, Redline Ventura covers all the bases.

Our small-group, semi-private baseball training for members is offered Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Each training session is conducted by age group and experience level, so athletes can enjoy individualized attention within a group of their peers.

Your young athlete will be trained by an extremely experienced baseball athlete and coach who is passionate about teaching effective technique and motivating athletes.

Baseball Fundamentals Small Group Training

Tuesdays and Thursdays

Simply choose a date and time for your free baseball training session based on your athlete's age and experience level. Training sessions are about one hour long. Athletes should bring their gear, including glove, batting gloves, favorite bat, etc.

Softball Pitching and Catching Small Group Training

Fridays

Choose a date and time for your softball pitching and catching training session based on your athlete's age and experience level. Training sessions are about one hour long. Pitchers and catchers will be trained in small-group, semi-private settings learning pitching and catching fundamentals by doing drills and learning techniques. Athletes should bring their gloves and catchers should bring their gear.

Batting Cage (Softball & Baseball) Area

Our brand-new regulation batting cage is ready for players and teams to practice hitting it out of the park. Our cage is available for both baseball and softball rentals with optional pitching machine available for both sports.

Meet Coach Sam Campa:
Director of Baseball Operations

Coach Sam Campa is the person you want teaching your young athlete the sport of baseball! Famous locally as a Head Coach of the Ventura Braves Baseball Club and Assistant Varsity Coach of Foothill Tech, Coach Sam has a long history of success with the game.

A native of Santa Barbara, he played baseball for both Santa Barbara High School and Santa Barbara City College.

He served in the United States Marine Corps for seven years where he played whenever he could. He then returned to our area to coach little league and high school teams ever since.

He focuses on all on-field activities including player development, roster assignments, game strategy, game calling and all player instruction. While he is an all-around baseball player with extensive knowledge of every position, he specializes in pitching and catching.
